What is LCIJ?
LCIJ (Large Character InkJet) is a large-character inkjet designed to print directly on secondary and tertiary packaging: corrugated cartons, cases, pallets, kraft bags. Print heights from 18 to 100 mm, texts, logos, GS1-128 barcodes and variable data — without labels or stencils.
Why switch to direct printing?
- No more labels: no label stock, no application, no labeling errors
- Reduced cost per mark: a few tenths of a cent per carton versus several cents per label
- In-line variable data: batch, date, barcode and pallet number can change on every carton
- Professional image: sharp, straight and consistent marking, far superior to manual stenciling
- Logistics compliance: readable GS1-128 and SSCC codes meeting retailer requirements
Cartons or pallets: which configuration?
| Need | Recommended solution | Print height |
|---|
| Standard cartons and cases | X72 | Up to 72 mm |
| Large format, EPAL pallets, dual-side | ResMark 5000 | Up to 100 mm, up to 90 m/min |
ResMark 5000, the pallet marking reference
The
ResMark 5000 prints up to 100 mm high on cartons and pallets, single or dual-sided, at speeds up to 90 m/min. It advantageously replaces pallet labeling systems: SSCC code, logo and regulatory information are printed directly on the case or shrink film.
X72, compact marking for cartons
The
X72 covers heights up to 72 mm with its FREEFLOW™ architecture without pump or valve — a design that eliminates wear parts and simplifies daily maintenance.
