Varnish protects a label and creates a premium finish, but its glossy, low-absorption surface makes adhesion more demanding. A mark that looks good immediately may fade through rubbing, humidity or contact with chemicals.

Why use TTO on varnished labels?

Thermal Transfer Overprinting transfers a controlled ink layer from a ribbon with heat and pressure. It is ideal for variable dates, lots, barcodes, DataMatrix, logos and marketing data without changing a cliché.
