How does CIJ work?
A CIJ coder (Continuous InkJet) continuously generates a jet of electrically charged ink droplets. An electrostatic field deflects the useful drops toward the product while the others return to the ink circuit. Marking therefore happens
with no contact at all, at a distance — up to several centimeters from the product.
